The entry at COHO says, “Come on in, kick off your boots and relax!” The antler chandelier, pine floor and stone fireplace (with a mysterious Latin slogan carved in the mantle) remind you that you are not in Kansas anymore. The house and furnishings are all brand new, yet glow with warmth and suggest a history of happy rendezvous. The original artwork and well-chosen decor provide a fresh, inspiring, uncluttered, well-designed space for your gathering.

COHO is unique in that it was designed with the needs of the temporary guest in mind. This home is user friendly; from the well-labeled light switches, drawers, remote controls, shelves, electronics, and appliances to the multiple well-lit grooming areas to decompress the bathroom traffic. Rooms are not over-furnished so there is room for you and your gear. Luggage racks, laundry baskets and hooks abound. Dresser-height power strips accommodate all your rechargeable gear.

COHO is well-equipped including cable TV and wireless internet access, a computer printer, fax machine, washer/dryer, iron, hair dryers, BBQ grill, PS2 gaming system and all the little things that make a house a home. You even have access to extras like walkie-talkies, binoculars, bikes, toys, CDs, DVDs, portable chairs, and sleds. Informational binders were created just for our guests- one with appliance and electronic manuals, one with recreational and activity guides and one with maps and directions.

There is something for everyone, from outlet shopping to extreme sports. COHO is on the Breckenridge Golf Course and is less than 4 miles from the Breckenridge Ski area. It is also less than a mile from Breckenridge Recreation Center, a loaded facility with an indoor pool, first class work-out center, climbing wall, racquetball, tennis (hard & clay), gym, steam room, running track, skate park, softball, soccer, kayak park, bike path, and day care.

COHO is a quiet place. At night you can actually see stars or if you’d rather, catch a movie. Deer, birds, porcupine and other wildlife frequent the area. Activities abound in the area and there is never a dull moment any time of year.
